2020/2021 NNPC/TOTAL NATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI) operator of the OML 130, in pursuance of its corporate social responsibility, invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian students to its 2020/2021 NNPC/TOTAL National merit scholarship scheme. This award which is open to all first year and second year full time students irrespective of course of study is aimed at assisting brilliant Nigerian students to finance their education. The scheme provides annual scholarships grants to successful candidates from their year of award (first year or second year) to the completion of their degree program.

Eligibility:
To qualify for consideration, an applicant MUST;
  • Be registered FULL-TIME undergraduate student in a recognised Nigerian University.
  • Be a certified 100 or 200 level student at the time of this application.
Please Note:
The following categories of students need not apply
  • Students with less than 200 score in UTME
  • 200 level students with CGPA of less than 2.5 in a 5.0 grade system
  • 300 level students and above
  • Students who are current beneficiaries of similar award from the industry.
Deadline: October 31, 2020.
Important Note:
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the selection test
  • Selection test will hold on Saturday December 5, 2020 at designated centres nationwide.
  • Please note that candidates shall bear the full cost of transportation to/from test venue.
  • Candidates are therefore advised to choose test centre closest to them.

UBEC Latest Update; Federal Teacher's Scheme Screening Postponed

  The screening test for candidates who applied for the Federal Teachers’ Scheme (FTS) in September have been postponed, this was confirmed by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC). (Join our social media community to receive daily job alerts and other opportunities  Facebook ,  WhatsApp ,  Instagram  ) UBEC’s Public Relations Officer, Dr Ossom Ossom, announced the postponement in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja. He stated that the test, which was scheduled for Oct. 10, had been postponed until a later date, which would be communicated to candidates in due course. Ossom advised candidates to visit their State Universal Education Boards (SUBEBs) for the names of shortlisted candidates, from Oct. 12.
