Introduction:

This is to notify the general public that the year 2021 edition of the competition for entry into the Administrative Cadres in the Oyo State Service will commence in January, 2021.

The competition will consist of: A qualifying written examination to be conducted by the Administrative Staff College of  Nigeria (ASCON) Topo, Badagry;

Requirements:

To be eligible for the competition, a candidate must hold bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines of the Social Sciences, humanities, Law, Agricultural Science, Accountancy and other related fields.

Candidates who are sitting for the examination leading to any of the aforementioned qualifications in 2021 should have the understanding that if they fail to secure the appropriate qualifications, they will automatically drop out of the competition.

Subjects for the Examination:

The examination will consist of five(5) papers namely.

  • English Language (Easy/Comprehension)
  • Logical Thinking
  • Basic Statistics; and
  • General Knowledge Papers I & II (Essay Objective)

Examination Day:

Thursday, 28th – Friday, 29th January, 2021 at Government College, Apata, Ibadan.

Method of Application:

All completed application forms must be submitted at the Civil Service Commission Secretariat, Ibadan.

Note: 

A non-refundable examination fee of N7,500(Seven Thousand  Five Hundred Naira) is to paid into Account No. 0120426092 Wema Bank Plc mokola, Ibadan, for the collection application form in Room 09 of the commission from Tuesday 17th November to Thursday 10th December, 2020.

UBEC Latest Update; Federal Teacher's Scheme Screening Postponed

  The screening test for candidates who applied for the Federal Teachers’ Scheme (FTS) in September have been postponed, this was confirmed by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).
