1. COPY AND PASTE BRINGS MORE SUCCESS.

You may not hear it from an everyday Entrepreneur but the truth is, copy and paste brings more success. Choosing to follow the trails of highly successful people in your field will bring more success than trying to reinvent the Wheel. What most Entrepreneurs who are struggling fail to understand is that 90% of the time, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel especially as a startup, because you may not have the financial capacity and resources to do so, just copy the success formula of those in your chosen field, apply it and you will get the same result.

Amazon started with selling only EBooks, until they realized what Ebay was doing, they opened up Amazon to selling everything possible you can find on the market. Today Amazon is the biggest online retail Store in the World.        

2. IDEAS ARE SHIT, INNOVATION COMES IN EXECUTION.

The everyday Entrepreneur has a great idea, and they tend to hide the idea from people so as to protect the idea from being stolen. While I laugh at their foolishness I also teach them that ideas are shit. The key to success lies in execution, you can have the best idea in the world and the worst execution plan, you will find yourself worse than you were before, only looking for an escape plan instead of a building plan, The Grave continues to be the wealthiest place in the world because Men have died with many unexecuted or poorly executed ideas and Dreams. When you have your idea, Concentrate more on the Execution Plan.

3. WHY NOW, WHY NOT START 5 YEARS LATER OR WHY DIDN’T I START 5 YEARS AGO?

To succeed you need to answer the question WHY NOW, WHY NOT LATER. Knowing when to launch your idea or go after your dream is important, As the bible clearly states, there is a time for everything, Don’t try to start too early and don’t start too late.

4. GIVE YOURSELF FREEDOM TO FAIL, LEARN AND CORRECT YOUR CAUSE.

This may not be the first on the list but surely it is one of the most important, you must not close your mind to failing, every successful man in the world has failed a lot of times, while we tend to see the glamour and glitz, many have failed to listen to their stories.  Show me a man who never failed, and I will show you a man who never tried. Success comes from correction of multiple failures. I define failure as finding another way that didn’t work. How you define failure will go a long way to determine how failure will affect you and how soon you will succeed.

What is the motivation and inspiration behind your idea? Ideas come from finding the best solutions to a problem. I have had many young Entrepreneurs who have seen a problem and try to solve it with their best idea, yet the idea failed miserably and most times it put them in great debts and misery, eventually they give up.  It is important that Entrepreneurs make the problem their focal point, and by the rising of the Sun, you see more reasons to improve your idea to solve the problem.

6. HAVE A MARKETING PLAN TO TAKE YOUR PRODUCTS/SERVICES FROM 1 PERSON TO 100, TO 1000 AND TO OVER A MILLION PEOPLE.

Success is a game of numbers, you must be innovative in your marketing plan and strategy. Employ the best Marketing Manager where possible, consult, read books, attend Online courses on marketing, develop and hone your skills, equip your Organization with the right marketing Team and then get your Products and Services to Millions of people everyday. You can go further by developing your sales Funnel and a landing page.

7. HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU READ IN A MONTH?

 You want to be the next Jeff Bezos or Warren Buffet; you must be ready to read as much books as they have read. What you read is what molds you. What a Sculptor does to a plain wood is same as what a book does to the mind, it helps chisel the unnecessary, excesses part of your mind and thinking. Best Clue; You know your area of weakness and what to improve on them, get books on it, you know your areas of Passion, get books on it, Read and do as it says.

8.GO TO SEMINARS, CONFERENCES.

I bet you have heard the saying, like minds attract, you want to find fellow red hot entrepreneurs like you, don’t bother going to clubs and parties, you will find them in Seminars, Workshops and Conferences. You can never become successful alone. You need to surround yourself with likeminded people, collaborate and work with them. They have the skills and knowledge you don’t have, and vice versa. Learn together, work together and succeed together. Form a mastermind group. The place of collaboration with likeminded people can never be overemphasized. Iron sharpeneth Iron. You want to earn alot, you need to learn a lot.                                                                                  

9. GO EXTRA MILES.

Form the habit of rendering more and better services than is expected, doing it with a positive mental attitude. Whether your client deserves it or not, have a standard of going extra mile, whatever worth doing is worth doing so well. At the end, you will realize you have built an empire of great standard and quality service.
